Hamas: Moderating or Consolidating?

Hamas is dealing with strife in the Gaza Strip, fighting against an Al-Qaeda linked group called Soldiers of the Supporters of God.  This group called for the establishment of an Islamic Emirate in Palestine and for the territory to be governed solely by Sharia Law, says a report on Al Jazeera English.
While there is mixed reviews from Palestinians over the appropriateness of Hamas’ crackdown, it could be an important message set to the United States.  During the crackdown, the leader of the movement, his son and an aide were killed, along with at least 13 other fighters for the splinter group.  Hamas lost 6 of their security forces and six civilians were also killed, including an 11-year old girl.

I’m not a very good blogger, am I?

I’m not a very good blogger, am I?

It’s been pretty busy around these parts…  I’m sitting here on a Friday night, just finished watching a movie with my wife and thought I’d run Death Cab’s Grapevine Fires through Genius and do some blogging.

I don’t have the heart to see when the last time I posted was, but really I just need to focus on moving forward.  This is a journey, right?  Can’t spend the whole time looking in the rearview mirror.

This is my apology to those of you who took some time to read and maybe even checked back from time to time to see what was going on, only to see that same post, yellowing at the top of the blog.

I can’t promise I’ll be daily blogging, at least not until after September 17th, but I’m going to try to do a better job.
